​A Little About Us

Highlands Ski and Outdoor Center, located in Abingdon, Virginia, is a specialty retail shop that can furnish you in outdoor equipment and clothing to suit any kind of weather for all of your outdoor activities.
We offer brands like Patagonia, Columbia, Woolrich, Mountain Hardwear, Life is Good, The North Face, Chaco, Merrill, Vasque, Olukai, ENO, Oakley, Timex, and of course TREK and Bontrager. We are always bringing in new merchandise for every season.
We also house a full service bike repair shop, with experience mechanics to provide the best maintenance for your bike.

What We Offer

• Bike technicians that offer full service for all brands of bicycles from simply fixing a flat tire, to building a bike from the frame up. We offer 30 day tune-up, when you purchase your bike from Highlands Ski & Outdoor Center.
• Full service for skis and snowboards from simple waxing to high performance racing tunes.
• Ski binding, mounting, adjustments & calibration.
• Full service for skateboards.
• Full service custom ski boot fitting, with a fitter on-site.
